House of Trouble

"House of Trouble" by two-piece Missouri band Clatter

Heard enough gloom and doom about global warming? So have we, but that doesn't mean we don't care. So we decided to make a video that people would enjoy watching for our global warming song "House of Trouble." I mean, how many sad polar bears can a person stand to see in their lifetime?! Background:
When they're not touring the world, husband (drums) and wife (bass, vocals) duo Clatter live on 125 acres in central Missouri where they planted native grasses and over 7,000 trees. They converted their dilapidated chicken house into a music studio using eco-friendly or reclaimed materials. Eager to spread the word about climate change, they recorded a topical song "House of Trouble" for their 2006 CD release "Monarch" and filmed the accompanying music video the following year. 2008 will see Clatter play their first shows in Europe in March.
