Make it Write-Creative and Earth Witness Reporting

You are on assignment to report and photograph events about climate change on planet earth. You are a freelance journalist/writer/photographer for the I Spy division of the news at the MUSE Campaign.

Give us an objective account of events that you are witnessing. Or make it a biographical piece from your first-hand experience. Be our eyes into the world of climate change. Show us the changes you are witnessing, how it is impacting your life, the lives of people you care about, nature, and the planet.

Share with us the painful truths and events about global warming and environmental devastation. Also, show the positive side: the innovations and activism. Please share the green, sustainable actions that are being made. We need good news too. And lots of it.

Writers—give us some of the basics like, Who, What, When, Where, Why or How. Photographers—show us what you see. Show us real life events as objectively as you can. How is climate change affecting you? What is the truth.

ROSY PERIWINKLE SOLILOQUY

ROSY PERIWINKLE SOLILOQUYLate in the night,
above the urban drawl,

a voice percussive and shrill
like a lucid, drunk piccolo.

A mockingbird sings—
the very one that sang reveille,
that bright but eerie solo.

The sound penetrates
like a sub-zero wind,
now transposing to a voice
I comprehend.

"Imagine the earth without bird-song.
Gone from dawn to dusk to dawn,
mute forever."
